Terms & Conditions for the usage of XOX MOBILE operator services and products
XOX DATA ROAMING
Each subscriber agrees that he/she has read and understood and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon subscribing to XOX Data Roaming plan. The use of the Plan is subject to the General Terms & Conditions, Specific Terms & Conditions, XOX Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available on the website at www.onexox.my and as may be modified from time to time by XOX MOBILE.
Introduction
XOX Data Roaming is a roaming plan offered by XOX Mobile for travellers who wish to subscribe to a data only plan while they are abroad.

1.1 XOX Data Roaming plan is available to all ONEXOX and BLACK subscribers.
1.2 XOX Data Roaming service starts from May 2019 until further notice.

2. Activation and Charges for ONEXOX Prepaid subscribers
2.1 These are the steps required to be taken to subscribe and activate XOX Data Roaming for ONEXOX Prepaid subscribers:
STEP 1: Subscribers need to ensure they have sufficient credit in ONEXOX Prepaid account.
STEP 2: Go to phone settings, and find Access Point Name (APN), and manually set it to ‘XOX’.
STEP 3: Switch on data roaming in phone settings.
STEP 4: Connect to roaming country network operator.
STEP 5: Subscribe to XOX Data Roaming package (Please refer to clause 2.2 for subscription method).
2.2 ONEXOX Prepaid subscribers may subscribe to XOX Data Roaming package via:
a) USSD/Easy Menu
- Dial *150# to subscribe
b) SMS
- Send DATA ROAM to 22111 or 23388 (Roaming SMS charges sent from overseas apply)
2.3 Once all the above steps have been completed, data roaming will be activated. RM38 will be deducted from subscriber’s ONEXOX Prepaid account and subscribers will be credited with 500MB/day.
2.4 XOX Data Roaming 500MB subscription for ONEXOX Prepaid is a daily subscription basis.
2.5 The subscription will commence as soon as subscriber switch on ‘Data Roaming’ at their phone setting. The data roaming subscription shall be available until the expiry time which is following local validity time 11.59PM (Malaysia time) on the same day.
2.6 If subscriber fully utilized 100% data roaming quota BEFORE expiry time or local validity end time, subscriber will NOT be able to use data until end of daily roaming subscription (11:59PM, Malaysia time). However, subscriber may Re-subscribe XOX Data Roaming plan on same day (Please refer to clause 5 below for more information).
3. Activation and Charges for BLACK subscribers
3.1 For BLACK subscribers, these are the steps to activate XOX Data Roaming:
STEP 1: Subscribers need to ensure they have sufficient balance (credit limit) in ONEXOX BLACK account.
STEP 2: Go to phone settings, and find Access Point Name (APN), and manually set it to ‘XOX’.
STEP 3: Switch on data roaming in phone settings.
STEP 4: Connect to roaming country network operator.
3.2 Once all the above steps have been completed, the data roaming service will be activated. RM38 will be charged from their BLACK account and subscribers will be credited 500MB/day. The data roaming service will be available until local validity time 11.59PM (Malaysia time).
3.3 The data roaming subscription for BLACK is on a daily auto-renewal basis unless disabled by the subscribers. To disable, please refer to paragraph 7.
3.4 The subscription will commence as soon as subscriber switch on ‘Data Roaming’ at their phone setting. The data roaming subscription shall be available until the expiry time which is following local validity time 11.59PM (Malaysia time) on the same day.
3.5 If subscriber utilized 100% data roaming quota BEFORE expiry time or local validity end time, subscriber will NOT be able to use data until end of daily roaming subscription (11:59PM, Malaysia time).
3.6 If subscriber utilized 100% data roaming quota BEFORE expiry time or local validity end time 11:59PM (Malaysia time), subscriber has the option to either:
i. Hold until Auto Renewal the next day (12:00AM Malaysia time), or
ii. Re-subscribe XOX Data Roaming plan on same day.
4. Auto Renewal
4.1 Auto Renewal function is available for BLACK subscribers only.
4.2 For auto renew XOX Data Roaming, the subscriber shall ensure that his/her BLACK account has enough balance for the charges.
4.3 The charges will be automatically deducted from his/her BLACK account and the subscriber shall be able to enjoy the subscription immediately.
5. Re-subscribe
5.1 Re-Subscribe feature is available for both ONEXOX Prepaid and BLACK subscribers.
5.2 Subscribers may re-subscribe via:
a) USSD/Easy Menu
- Dial *150# to Re-subscribe
b) SMS
- Send DATA ROAM to 22111 or 23388 (Roaming SMS charges sent from overseas apply)
5.3 In the event the subscriber has opted to re-subscribe, the subscriber shall be charged RM38 for 500MB/day and the data roam service shall end at same day local validity time 11.59PM (Malaysia time).
6. Check Data Roaming Balance
6.1 To check data roaming balance for both ONEXOX Prepaid and BLACK, subscribers also have the option to use:
a) USSD/Easy Menu
- Dial *150# to check balance
b) SMS
- Send ROAM BAL to 22111 or 23388 (Roaming SMS charges sent from overseas apply)
7. Disabling Auto Activation
7.1 Disabling Auto Activation function is only for BLACK subscribers only.
7.2 Subscribers may Disabling Auto Activation via:
a) SMS
- Send OFFROAM to 23388 (Roaming SMS charges sent from overseas apply)
7.2 To DISABLE data roaming auto activation, subscriber must ensure to send in their request before they travel overseas. Subscriber has to call in Customer Care line +603–7800 0033 from XOX mobile number as the customer care agents will perform the disabling process from Malaysia.
7.3 Subscriber may also call Customer Care while at the roaming countries. For calling Customer Care or any Malaysian number beginning with +60, roaming rates are as seen below:
8. ROAMING CALL HOME RATE
8.1 Roaming Call instruction:

9. Others
9.1 If you did not connect to the correct roaming country network operators (listed above), you will still be charged RM38/day, however, you will not able to use the internet.
9.2 The data roaming is not transferable to any XOX subscribers.
9.3 The data roaming cannot be carried forward.
9.4 Each Roaming SMS charges apply, and it will be varying from country to country
while Easy Menu *150# does not incur charges.
9.5 XOX MOBILE reserves the right to change, amend, modify, suspend, continue, terminate & add all or any Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
9.6 Where the Terms and Conditions are translated into a language other than the English Language, in the event of any inconsistencies, conflicts or discrepancies between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail.
9.7 XOX MOBILE reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to the subscribers or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Plan for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the service if your usage:
a) Shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on our Network;
b) Is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
c) Is not in accordance with the XOX Fair Usage Policy; or
d) Is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
